Il nostro, è un gruppo
di Radioamatori Radiotelegrafisti con indirizzo marittimo. Sappiamo che le parole sono importanti, ma ancora più rilevanti sono le azioni concrete.
In passato, capimmo,
che condividendo esperienze insieme ad ex professionisti, avremmo potuto divulgare con più precisione quelli che sono i nostri scopi.
Ecco perché, il 15 maggio 2017, abbiamo deciso di unire le nostre forze come MORSE.
Who we are
Ours, is a group
of Amateur Radio operators with a maritime focus. We know that words are important, but even more relevant are concrete actions.
In the past, we understood,
that by sharing experiences together with former professionals, we would be able to disseminate more accurately what our purposes are.
That is why, on May 15, 2017, we decided to join forces as MORSE.

per mantenere viva l'essenza ed il ricordo di milioni di messaggi scambiati in mezzo al mare, spesso serviti per salvare vite umane.
MORSE, mira a mantenere equilibrio, serietà e professionalità all'interno del gruppo radiotelegrafico, trasmettendo ai corrispondenti semplici emozioni, attraverso dei tasti telegrafici.
MORSE considers this issue a priority and is aware of the high impact it has on the lives of enthusiasts
around the world.
We care about the popularization of radio telegraphy, expressed in the simplest and correct way.
We are committed constantly to keep alive the essence and memory of millions of messages exchanged in the midst of the sea, which often served to save lives.
MORSE, aims to maintain balance, seriousness and professionalism within the radiotelegraphy group, conveying to correspondents simple emotions, through telegraphic keys.

Il nostro principale obiettivo, è proprio quello di sensibilizzare più operatori possibile, mantenendo intatta l'espressione di questo linguaggio.
La radiotelegrafia non ha bisogno di essere migliorata, deve essere conservata e divulgata. Per oltre 100 anni, il lavoro svolto dai Radiotelegrafisti di professione, è rimasto inalterato, seguendo dettagliate procedure, mantenendo precisione e correttezza per il corrispondente.

Our main goal, is precisely to raise awareness of as many operators as possible while keeping the expression of this language intact.
Radiotelegraphy does not need to be improved; it needs to be preserved and popularized. For more than 100 years, the work done by professional Radiotelegraphers, has remained unchanged, following detailed procedures, maintaining accuracy and correctness for the correspondent.

Il Gruppo MORSE, mette a disposizione un corso di CW in MP3 FILES.
Il corso è stato ideato e divulgato per anni da Oscar Portoghese – I7OHP, mancato il 3 gennaio 2024.
Oscar era un devoto all’arte della telegrafia e, dopo aver svolto il mestiere di radiotelegrafista per l’Aeronautica Militare; dopo tutti gli anni che ha impegnato all’istruzione di molti radioamatori per apprendere il CW; dopo aver spedito i suoi CD gratuitamente affinché tutti potessero beneficiare, crediamo che gli avrebbe fatto piacere sapere che ora il suo corso classico per l’insegnamento della telegrafia, continui ad essere messo a disposizione per quanti vorranno richiederlo.

The MORSE Group provides a CW course in MP3 FILES.
The course was designed and popularised for years by Oscar Portoghese - I7OHP, who passed away on 3 January 2024.
Oscar was a devotee of the art of telegraphy, and after all the years he spent as a radio operator for the Air Force; after all the years he spent instructing many amateur radio operators to learn CW; after sending out his CDs free of charge for all to benefit from, we believe he would have been pleased to know that now his classic course for teaching telegraphy continues to be made available for those who wish to request it.

REGOLE CONSIGLIATE PER UNA BUONA OPERAZIONE IN CW
(Da un'idea dell'Amico Alfredo De Cristofaro IK6IJF - Noi condividiamo)
1) Se sentite una stazione che chiama CQ ma non siete sicuri del suo nominativo, potreste essere tentati di rispondere con un singolo punto interrogativo per indurre la stazione chiamante a trasmettere di nuovo. In realtà non è una buona idea! È molto meglio aspettare che la stazione chiami di nuovo.

2) Un buon QSO in CW è molto più che uno scambio di rapporti e 73. Se volete evitare di sembrare un operatore con cattive abitudini, dovreste sempre condividere anche il vostro nome e il vostro QTH. Completare il contatto con le proprie condizioni di lavoro e il bollettino meteo è un modo eccellente per migliorare le proprie capacità in CW e, con il tempo necessario, per diventare abbastanza esperti da poter chiacchierare di tutto il resto.
RECOMMENDED RULES FOR A GOOD CW OPERATION

1) If you hear a station calling CQ but you are unsure about their callsign you might be tempted to reply with a single question mark in order to induce the calling station to transmit again. That's actually not a good idea! It is much better to wait until the station will eventually call again.

2) A good CW QSO is much more than exchanging reports and 73's. If you want to avoid looking like an operator with bad habits, you should always also share your name and QTH. Completing the contact with your working conditions and weather report is an excellent way to improve your CW skills and - given the necessary time - to become experienced enough to chat about everything else.
